Let’s spread our wings for World Bee Day on May 20th!🐝🌼
World Bee Day was created for a purpose, it is not just another day. It is a reminder of the important role bees and other pollinators play in our world. Sadly, bees and other essential creatures have been declining in numbers.
Let’s come together for World Bee Day and protect our furry winged friends.
NNTC is handing out packages of bee (and butterfly) friendly flower seeds! Buzz on over to centre court and find the bee flower stand! Grab a package of flower seeds. Helping the bees can bee as easy as planting these seeds!

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS
🐝Seeds can be scattered by hand.
🐝Place your seeds directly onto the ground.
🐝Seeds must come into direct contact with soil to germinate. Do not cover seeds by more than 2-3x their thickness.
🐝Keep the seeded area as evenly moist as possible to help the seeds germinate and the young seedlings become established.
🐝Once growing, the seeds do not require watering unless there is a particularly hot & dry period
🐝Flowers will regrow each year
Please note if planting into an existing lawn, seeds may not take into lawn as thatch can prevent wildflowers from growing.
