12:45pm-1:00pm: Children’s Group Dance Performance presented by the Chinese Cultural Society

1:30pm-2:30pm: Lion Dance

Attendees can enter to win a gift card. Young attendees can enjoy Lunar New Year themed colouring at the children’s colouring station.

Pop Up Patio

Enjoy a cozy indoor oasis featuring bocce ball, cornhole, performances, goodies and more!

With fun seating arrangements, our patio is the perfect place to relax and chill while escaping the west coast winter chill.

Celebrate the most wonderful time of year with a FREE children’s holiday art event in lower Centre Court! Children are invited to paint a handmade clay ornament.

The Santa Experience 2024

The Santa Experience is back at Nanaimo North Town Centre! Celebrate the holiday season with professional family portraits by Concept Photography.

BOOK NOW! Appointments are back this year in addition to walk-ins. Guarantee your visit with Santa without having to wait in line. Bookings are available for dates up to four weeks in advance.

Important Dates

There is NO Santa on Wednesdays as he will be back at the North Pole on Wednesdays preparing for Christmas!
November 16th (Holiday Kick Off event), November 17th (Free Children’s Art Event by Creative Escape), and both Free Photo Days are walk-in only.
Pets are welcome for Santa photos on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
November 18th & 25th are Free Santa Photo days! Each family will receive a free 5×7 print (one per family). Visits are by walk-in only on Free Photo days.

NNTC Trick or Treat

October 31st – 4 PM to 5 PM | Join us for our Trick or Treat at NNTC!

Get ready for a howling good time! On Halloween, all little ghouls and goblins (ages 12 and under) in their spookiest Halloween attire are invited to join our Trick-or-Treat extravaganza throughout the Centre.

Costumed children will receive a treat when they visit NNTC businesses from 4 PM – 5 PM on October 31st!

NEW this year: The Halloween Photo Experience! From October 25th to 31st during Centre hours, guests can enjoy two spooky sets for Halloween photos in unit 125 near Centre Court.
