Pride Month

June is Pride Month. Join us in celebrating love, diversity, and inclusivity.

We are collaborating with Oh Happy Bake, in support of Rainbow Refugee, to spread love & awareness with FREE Pride Cookies. Stop by the Centre after 1pm on June 23rd for your Pride Cookies. *while supplies last

In support of Rainbow Refugee’s mission to provide safety and support for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking refuge, ensuring that everyone has a place to call home where their true colours can thrive. We will be making a donation to the Rainbow Refugee in honour of Pride Month.

Spring Plant Sale by Nanaimo Horticultural Society

May 6th – 10 am – 2:30 pm Nanaimo Horticultural Society will be putting on their Spring Plant Sale. A great place to find last-minute Mother’s Day gifts. A master gardener will be on site to answer all your plant related questions and concerns.

Proceeds go towards a bursary for a deserving VIU student in the Horticultural program. Treat yourself to a new plant while supporting a university student!

Dive into an enchanted encounter and create unforgettable memories with your favourite Mermaid princess. Princess Ariel will be coming to the centre court for a FREE meet & greet. Come chat & become apart of Ariel’s world.

Showtime starts at 3pm of Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid at Nanaimo Galaxy Cinemas. Market open during regular Centre hours 10am-6pm. NO admission fees! This event is free for everyone. Not just for moms!

Mother’s Day Photos

Our Mother’s Day Portrait Studio will be open May 13th & 14th 11am-3pm located in the Centre Court.

Rotary Spring Used Book Sale

The Rotary Club of Nanaimo Used Book Sale is one of the most popular events at NNTC!

Discover more than 100,000 used titles throughout the entire Centre at the Rotary Spring Used Book Sale.

Hours:

Friday, April 14th: 8:00am-6:00pm

Monday-Saturday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Sundays: 11:00am-5:00pm

Prices:

Non-fiction and fiction titles: $3 each

Children’s books and cookbooks: $3 per inch

Pocket books: $2.50 each

All proceeds go directly to local literacy initiatives.

Please note the Rotary Club of Nanaimo accepts both card and cash for the Spring Used Book Sale.
