The Battle Of The Food Trucks | May 3rd, 11am-7pm
Get ready to eat, vote, and support a great cause!
The Battle Of The Food Trucks hosted by Van Isle Poutinerie takes place Saturday, May 3rd, from 11 AM to 7 PM in the South parking lot!
This exciting community event will feature more than 15 local food trucks serving up everything from sweet treats to savoury bites. Each truck will compete in categories including Best Dessert, Best Entrée, Best Customer Service, Best Food Truck Design, and Best Bang for Your Buck—and you get to help decide the winners!
Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a fun day out with family and friends, there’s something for everyone. Admission is free! Proceeds will benefit the Nanaimo Dry Grad Society, supporting a safe and memorable celebration for local graduating students.
Come hungry and leave happy—don’t miss this flavour-filled fundraiser that brings our community together, one bite at a time!

Orchid Society Show & Sale | February 28th- March 2nd
🌸Plant lovers mark your calendars! Join the Central Vancouver Island Orchid Society as they fill Centre Court with dozens of award-winning orchids for the weekend!
There will be potting demonstrations and orchid sales, as well as professional judging taking place at this event. The Orchid Show and Sale presents a unique chance for guests to view multiple rare orchid varieties up close and learn how to properly care for them.
